Siddall Jones rated top in West Midlands for Investment and Offices
For the second year running, Siddall Jones has been named “Most Active” agent in the West Midlands in two key categories.
The commercial property agency, which has offices in Birmingham and Dudley, was named top agent in the Investment sector and Offices category, and also registered fifth for the industrial marketplace.
The recognition comes in the publication of the EG Deals Competition 2020, run by the property trade magazine, which uses figures supplied by EG Radius to chart the success of agents across the UK.
Managing director Ed Siddall-Jones said: “The West Midlands is proving a real magnet for investors seeking value. The focus on the city, with the Commonwealth Games just around the corner and continuing work on HS2 and the Curzon Street station, is really driving interest.
“As the economic recovery gathers momentum this year, we can only see this increasing and we are very keen to speak to investors targeting the region, and landlords seeking to cash in their investments.”
The latest awards for Siddall Jones follow the award of Most Active Agent overall in the West Midlands in 2020, and in 2019, Siddall Jones was named Most Active Single Branch Agent by number of deals done by CoStar and was a Top Five finalist in the overall CoStar awards.
The firm, which was launched by Ed Siddall-Jones in 2012, has consistently outperformed major national and international networks and left other regional firms standing over the past two years.
And success has come in the form of increasing recognition from clients for Siddall Jones as the “dealmakers” of the Birmingham and Black Country market.
Recent deals have included the sale of Kestrel House to Key Land Capital for £700,000, PH Estate in TImmis Road, Stourbridge, for an undisclosed sum, and the £2.035 million acquisition of two units in Stour Vale Road, Lye, on behalf of retained clients.
In addition, Siddall Jones has been instructed to sell a major multi-let Birmingham business centre. BizSpace Business Park in Bordesley Green Road, has gone on the market for offers based on £1,700,000 which would provide a net initial yield of 10.21%.
Ed Siddall-Jones said: “The last 18 months has been a challenging time for all business, not least those in the business property market, but our continuing success has been a tribute to our hard-working staff.
“We are a multi-disciplined business, and this award is the result of the application of our knowledge and experience of local and regional markets to a wide ranging clientele from sole traders to multi-nationals.
“We provide ourselves in delivering the highest standard of client care, and our reputation speaks for itself and has helped the continuing growth of the business.”
