Jewellery Quarter office building acquired for £1.2m

An office building off of St Pauls Square, Birmingham, has been sold by commercial agents Siddall Jones for £1.2m on behalf of a private investment firm.

The purchaser of 34-35 Ludgate Hill in the Jewellery Quarter is Absolute Interpreting and Translation following a refurbishment of the 4,946 sq ft property.

Comprising five floors, the building also comes with secure parking.

Managing director and founder Ed Siddall-Jones said the transaction underscores the resilience of the owner-occupier market.

“This sale not only highlights the enduring strength of the owner-occupier segment but also showcases Birmingham’s attractiveness as a hub for commercial real estate investments.

“We are pleased to have facilitated this transaction within a strict timescale proscribed by our client who needed to ensure completion before the end of the year.”

Stephen Gooden at law firm Standley & Co acted for the seller, with Cherry Elliott at Higg LLP advising the purchaser.

Ed Siddall Jones added: “This strategic sale contributes to Siddall Jones’ track record of successfully managing high-value commercial property transactions. The firm’s comprehensive services extend beyond agency and investment, encompassing property management for both private and public sector clients.”
